When is Deepavali School Holidays 2023?

 

There are extra festive  holidays by schools every year during festival seasons like Deepavali, Hari Raya and Chinese New Year. 

This year, Deepavali falls on Sunday, 12 November 2023. Schools will have one extra day off for Deepavali making it a 4 day weekend.

Group A schools will be off from Friday, 10th November 2023 until Monday, 13th November 2023

Group B schools will be off from Saturday, 11th November 2023 until Tuesday, 14th November 2023.

Group A schools are schools in Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu whereas Group B schools are schools in all other states and federal territories.
