Nowadays, you can buy many Chinese New Year decorations from the supermarkets, "kedai runcit" (grocery store) and "pasar malam" (night market) too. They're not cheap though and nothing beats the satisfaction of making your own. So why not give it a try?
It is easy to make your own Chinese New Year decorations from angpow paper, so easy that even kids can make them as you can see from the videos below. They range from easy to intermediate. However, kids can make them if they follow the step by step video tutorial. It will be a fun activity for the whole family. The reward?
