So it is officially out at last the official dates for the Malaysia School Holidays 2015 or Takwim Sekolah 2015. Usually the moe (the Ministry of Education Malaysia or Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia) will come out with it around October. However many parents will be on the lookout for it earlier because they plan for holidays in advance. As a result the Malaysia School Holidays calendar is usually predicted or forecasted by travel companies etc.

If you are one of those that have been looking at the forecast Malaysia school holiday calendar for 2015 then fret not because the official school holiday calendar for Malaysia for the year 2015 is out on the Moe website. These days I don't print and paste anymore. I just take a screenshot or photo and save on my iPad.

Interesting dates of note:

• School starts on 4th January 2015 for schools in Kedah, Kelantan, Johor and Terengganu
• School starts on 5th January 2015 for schools in Perlis, Pulau Pinang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Labuan & Putrajaya
• Total no of school days is 205 days
• Total no of term holidays is 85 days
• There is also something new which is "Hari Ganti" from 16 Nov to 20 Nov to replace the days off during festive periods. Hopefully that means no Saturday replacement classes.
