The final batch of UPSR students sitting for the UPSR in September 2015 will be sitting for
- BM Paper 1
- BM Paper 2
- English
- Math and
- Science
- BC/BT paper 1 and
- BC/BT paper 2
BC=Bahasa Cina
For English and Math, there are two separate papers to sit for but they are considered as one subject whereas for BM and BC, the two separate papers are considered as separate subjects.
In addition to the above, there will be an aptitude test to sit for on the last day of the exams. The aptitude tests are not counted in the overall results.

With effect from 2016, there will be a new UPSR. At this point of writing, there is no news yet about it accept what was mentioned before ie 60:40 (60% Pentaksiran Berasaskan Pusat or PBP and 40% Pentaksiran Berasaskan Sekolah or PBS) which means 40% will take into account course work or school based projects and assessments and 60% on central examinations. We are still waiting for more news on this.
We are also not sure whether Sejarah will be in the list of topics tested.
