ReplyDeleteWell, this fake post of mine must have sent the correct message because they've taken down my posts. Phew! In the previous case, I found out because another blogger told me. In this case I found out by accident but you can also check using copyscape or googling unique words in your blog and see if anything else turns up.

Nowadays very easy to copy lock stock and barrel one. You better watch out too or you may find your pokeying posts on another mirror blog you don't know of. Haha.

Yeah it stinks. And this one steals lock, stock and barrel, not just one or two posts but ALL!!! Makes me so mad.
how many times you got copied? This is not the first time already! My, my, my! But it also proved one point - you are really good. Your blog is really GOOD! That's the only consolation.

I really hope there is such 'police stations' online that we can report these kind of cases and these 'online police' has the authority to investigate and pull sites down as punishments or de-index them!

ReplyDeleteHaha. This is not a real post. Its just a fake one meant to appear on the copier's blog and it did but the feller is still copying my posts lock stock and barrel complete with links and pictures. *Shakes head* Betul betul tak malu. Really dunno what to do.
maybe the fella uses a software to do that, so he doesn't bother what he copies and never read the post/comments you leave him.

i commented here before abt a blog which stole everything from me lock, stock and barrel. I did everything I could. The website took no heed. ... he couldn't care less. in the end i did it in such a way he can only post the first paragraph...a mirror site to mylongkang.. nothing worked for me :(
ReplyDeleteI guess allowing them to steal just the first paragraph makes it look odd on their site. However the downside is will regular readers who are too lazy to click on "read more" read just the first paragraph too on your site? Normally I wouldn't, I would click on "read more" but I'm just wondering aloud.
