2022/2023 School Calendar with school holidays

Due to the covid-19 pandemic and the postponing of class sessions, the academic year has also been changed. In 2022, the academic year will begin in March 2022, 21st March 2022 to be exact. The academic year will end on 11 March 2023 for schools in Group A and 12 March 2023 for schools in Group B.

Group A  schools are schools in states which observe Friday and Saturday as a weekend. They are Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu and Johor.

Group B schools are schools in states which observe Saturday and Sunday as a weekend. They are Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perlis, Pulau Pinang, Perak, Putrajaya, Sabah, Sarawak and Selangor

Third term 2021/2022 school holidays = 25/26 Feb 2022 - 20 Mac 2022

First term 2022/2023 school holidays = 3/4 Jun 2022 0- 11/12 Jun 2022

Second term 2022/2023 school holidays = 2/3 Sept 2022 - 10/11 Sept 2022

Third term 2022/2023 school holidays = 9/10 Dec 2022 - 31 Dec 2022

Year end 2022/2023 school holidays = 17/18 Feb 2023 - 11/12 Mac 2023
